Through the North Gate, caravan arrive at all hours with goods from Nyrond, the Theocracy of the Pale, and even from the Bandit Kingdoms.
Northtown is teeming with the daily activities of merchants and commoners alike. The hub of activity in this district of Radigast City is the High Market.
Two temples are in Northtown: one is the Temple of Xerbo, the other is to Olidammara, the Laughing Rogue.
Most folks to be encountered here are merchants, suppliers, customers or foreigners. Many merchants are well established, with several generations of family owned business. Purchasing a building is too costly for most people, and once you own the building, you ensure your heirs inherit it.
The city watch is always bust with the abondant pickpockets in this section of the city. Any trouble is dealth with immediately by the arrival of the city watch. Presence of the watch is constant, as groups of 3-4 soldiers make constant patrols.
The general attitude towards adventurers is great acceptance. Merchants often talk with adventurers to see how much money they have. The typical tactic is for a merchant to be as friendly as possible to sell more to a customer than he intended to buy.
