An Oeridian woman in her mid 20s, her copper hair tied in a ponytail and wearing the green livery of the Knights of the Swan, as well as heavy plate armor, enters the room.
Lady Rachel is Lord Terard Duncombe's eldest daughter and the black sheep of the family. She is known to be a Paladin of Heironeous. Against her father's wishes, she became a Knight of the Swan and through determination and skill, she climbed to the rank of Knight Paragon (2nd in command). She runs the fortress of Knight's hold near Trigol.
It has been revealed that she leads the County's efforts against Malachite, in association with the Church of Pelor and its Bishop Andre Trabeaux.
Lady Duncombe is a member of House Duncombe. Her mother was Countess Belissica's sister.
Coronation
Following the Council of Peers her father held in Charn in the last days of 596CY, Rachel was crowned Countess Rachel the First before the assembled people of the County by her father.
Rule
Countess Rachel led her forces at the Battle of Ventnor.
At the harvest celebration in 597CY, she announced that she would marry Lord Darius, he Lord Chamberlain.
