The door swings open and in comes a man in his fifties. His Oeridian brown hair is turning gray at the temples and he wears the red livery of the Lord’s Fist. Out in the corridor, you can see a number of soldiers wearing the red livery of the Lord’s Fist as well.
Lord Terard Duncombe II is the Archbaron of Eastmarch. He is the single most powerful person in all of Urnst, second only to the Count.
Under orders from the Contessa, he manages a large force of 20,000 troops along the Nyrond border, from Starkwall to the Crystal Springs, along the Franz River to the Fennelmore Swamp. These forces guard our borders closed against the Imperium of Nyrond and the Usurper Prince Sewarndt.
Following the death of the Contessa, he declared Martial Law across the County AND named himself regent.
Lord Duncombe is the father of Countess Rachel(first), Sir Terard Duncombe III (second) and Sir Rotham Duncombe(third). His wife was the sister of Countess Belissica.
Lord Duncombe commands the Lord's Fists.
Lord Duncombe is the current head of House Duncombe.
In early 597CY, during the Battle of Ventnor, Lord Duncombe lead a group of elite adventurers during the Battle beneath the Grey Hills.
